Jia Chuan Noodles Haven @ Cheras

Before we headed to Viva Shopping Mall, we decided to stop by Jia Chuan Noodles Haven @ Taman Segar, Cheras for lunch.

As the weather was very hot, I was not keen for anything soupy, so I ordered the Dry Pork Noodles (RM 5.00).  This pork noodles was very good.  It was very fragrant with the pork lard.  The soup is very flavourful and is quite peppery - very nice to drink.

KS went for the Bitter-gourd Pork Noodles (RM 5.50).  Bitter-gourd are not bitter at all and has not affected the taste of the soup.  The soup, which tasted a bit different from the pork noodles, is very sweet and flavourful.

We also ordered the Yong Tofu - brinjal and beancurd sheet (RM 1.00 each).  The beancurd sheet was very nice and crispy while for the brinjal, the fish paste used was seasoned well and is bouncy.

Jia Chuan Noodles Haven is very clean and brightly lid - a good place for a meal at an affordable price especially since the portion is quite big.  The only problem is finding a parking as the area is very busy.
